Tainter Gates

Tainter gates consist of a curved skinplate and radial arms typically used on large openings where vertical lift gates are impractical. Tainter gates are usually operated by cable or drum hoists to allow for full travel with minimal overhead super structure. Rubber seals are attached to the sides and bottom of the gate and seal on stainless steel plates embedded in the adjacent concrete.
