Steel-Fab's jet flow gates are high pressure bonneted slide gates used for free discharge and flow regulation with minimal cavitation damage. A circular seat ring is located upstream of the gate leaf that concentrates the flow in a jet. The bronze seated leaf is moved vertically by an electrically or hydraulically operated screw hoist.

Steel-Fab manufactured the jet flow gates at the Cobble Mountain Reservoir Dam, a site which received the ASDSO (Association of State Dam Safety Officials) rehabilitation project of the year award in 2007. ASDSO is a national organization of more than 2,500 members including federal dam safety professionals, dam owners and operators, engineering consultants, manufacturers, suppliers, academia, contractors, and others interested in improving dam safety.
